Bloo Looks out of a Window by BlooCheese Bloo Looks out of a Window by BlooCheese
Okay, this title is even lamer than "Bloo in a Hat and Scarf" or whatever I called that other one.

For those of you who are thinking, "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE?" but are too polite to say it out loud...

Q: What in the world are those two funny-looking white streaks in the lower right corner?

A: Those are supposed to make it look like a window. SUPPOSED TO!

Q: Now, why in the world is Bloo plastered to a window?

A: Um...I guess he's looking outside...because...it's snowing...yeah. He's looking outside because it's snowing.

Q: So Bloo's plastered to a window?

A: Yeah, pretty much.

Q: And what are those thing-a-ma-bobs on the sides supposed to be?

A: Those? They're supposed to be curtains.

Q: And what are those wierd-o white dots splattered throughout the picture supposed to be?

A: Snow. Very bad-looking snow.

I could totally tell what you were aiming for and the fact that you were able to accomplish it in black and white is no easy task. Great job!

He's looking out the window because two of the Santa IFs are engaged in a laser battle to the death on the front lawn of Foster's, duh! :D

I got a nice little box containing 4B, 3B, 2B, B, HB, F, H, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, and 6H pencils. H pencils are best for sketching with, and B pencils are best for shading with. 6H is the hardest and lightest, 5H is the second hardest and lightest and so on and so forth. F is right in the middle, I think, so I normally use it to darken the outlines of my drawing. 4B is the softest and darkest, 3B is the second darkest and so on and so forth. I also use a blending stump. I believe there are pencils darker than 4B and lighter than 6H, but I don't have them.

I usually use the 2H pencil to begin drawing because the 6H tends to punch holes in my paper. Then I darken the lines with the H and the F pencil. When I shade, I go from darkest to lightest of the soft pencils to try and create a smooth gradient effect. Then I take the blender and go over the whole shaded area in little circles until everything looks smooth. When I'm done, I normally re-trace all the lines with the F pencil. Hope that was informative.
